Curated by Marco Meneguzzo, the monograph retraces sixty years of Grazia Varisco's activity, documenting the research and experimentation themes carried out by the artist since the 1960s and presenting a rich selection of important works from the various artistic periods: from the Magnetic Tables (an invitation to play by attributing an expressive function to the elements in the field) to the re-presentation of the artist's historic solo exhibition at Galleria Schwarz 1969 in Milan; from the Variable Luminous Schemes to the Frangible, Mercurial and Variable + Quadrilateral Reticles of the 1960s to the experiences of the Extrapages, Potential Spaces, Sundials and Gnomons (in which a reflection towards the essential, exalts Chance as an element of investigation that insinuates itself into all occasions); from the proposal of essentiality and simplification of form in the 1990s to the research of the 2000s, which takes on new forms always linked to change and the ambiguity of perception that involves the visitor, soliciting a continuous verification between Programme and Case.
