Since 1996, Skira has been producing, organising and setting up art exhibitions and cultural events across Europe. Since then, Skira has always seen it as its mission to explore the mystery of art and culture and is constantly searching for the most advanced ways to organise and deliver an exhibition.

As part of the Chargeurs Museum Studio ecosystem and a pioneering cultural content creator, Skira secures a front-row seat in the partnership with The Grand Palais Immersif, providing a deeply enriching 360-degree perspective on scenography and extending the boundaries of the visitor experience. The ultimate aim for Skira is to build a memorable experience for an increasingly broad and multifaceted audience.

Our Expertise
In the contemporary cultural scene, Skira is synonymous with high-level exhibitions for both the public – which is increasingly broad and enthusiastic– and for partner institutions and museums. The critical curatorial approach, the scenography, the beauty of the works and the very act of walking through a Skira exhibition, together with the management of organisational and financial aspects and communication, make a Skira event unforgettable.
Design & Consultation
Skira develops and evaluates the idea and the style of the exhibition together with scholars, curators and prominent international cultural institutions. This includes feasibility analysis and the requisite economic investments for the project.
Touring and International
Thanks to its international network, Skira helps artists, estates and museums in bringing their exhibition project to other museums’ venues in Europe, North America, South America, the Middle East and Asia.
Management and Organisation
Skira organises the production and setup of the exhibition together with selected partners. This includes the assembly of each exhibition, insurance, transport and security as well as ticketing, temporary bookstores and audio guides.
Design and Scenography
The Skira branch in Paris takes care of the design of the setups and the scenography through a dedicated service. The company’s creativity and design expertise ensures artistic works are presented in the best possible way to provide an evocative and memorable journey for the visitor.
Communication
The Skira communication department plans targeted strategies to make events known across the world. The company has three press offices based in Italy, France and the United States, which work in tandem to disseminate information through the Skira website and social media pages, online campaigns and the activities of cultural influencers. The communication department also orchestrates actions and events in partner hotels and museums and out of home advertising campaigns. This makes for widespread promotion that integrates both analogue and digital methods of marketing.
Visits and Ticketing
Through its educational division, Skira formulates routes and visits for different types of guests including adults, children, experts and novices. Everyone can immerse themselves in an experience of beauty, growth and learning.
Publications
In almost a hundred years of its history, Skira has become a reference point for exhibition catalogues. The company’s publications involve a diverse array of themes, with both international and domestic distribution in the territory where the exhibition takes place.
Temporary Bookstores
Skira creates ad hoc publications, design and production of objects inspired by the theme of the exhibition as well as internal setup and staff training. Designed down to the smallest details, the temporary boutique bookstore that accompanies each exhibition is an experience within the experience. These temporary sites serve as the final stage of the exhibition route.
Administrative and Legal Aspects
The Skira administrative department manages relations with funders, museums and institutions in Italy and around the world, ensuring the smooth running of the exhibition organisation and management process.
Past Exhibitions
Skira’s exhibitions have made a significant impact on the international art scene. Each event brings a unique voice to attention and enriches the global cultural conversation.
